Maxim Storchevoy inquiry concerned "the history of the discovery of
Slutsky`s article (1915) in the West (Europe and America). It seems to us
that it was not R. Allen who found it first". The 1915 article was
called 'Sulla teoria del bilanco del consumatore' and was published in the
Italian journal Gionale degli economisti in 1915 (it was translated into
Russian in 1963, 15 years after Slutsky's death). Frisch's reference to
Slutsky's "The Summation of Random Causes as the Source of Cyclic Process"
was a reference to a completely different article (business cycle theory
not a reconstruction of value theory along ordinalist lines).
