I thank Sam Bostaph for the information regarding osteopathy as a distinct paradigm with
its own identity. If it has successfully maintained its separate (but not necessarily
equal) status in the medical system, more power to it. And yes, I stand corrected. Casual
empiricism ought to be avoided as a method of argumentation in all serious discussion.
