David:
It's interesting that the idea of seeing Hal Holbrook in person stimulates
your desire for a correspondence course in Twain. First step: get his
recently released video of his 1967 performance on Kulture (I believe).
Stanford doesn't offer correspondence (or on-line) courses on Twain. Does
anybody else on the list know of such a course? And if not, would the
Mark Twain Forum consider putting one together -- why, we could get rich!
rich! we could make millions and never have to work again! At least we
wouldn't have to eat turnips! A project worthy of Col. Sellers. No,
seriously, does anyone know of such a course?
