----------------- HES POSTING -----------------
A colleague in ancient history is interested in what the classical
economists had to say about the classical (Greek and Roman) economy. He is
interested in the history of his subject, ancient economic history. On
reflection, I think it is an interesting topic for the history of economics
as well, and I would like to follow it up. I can seek out the primary
sources myself, but does anyone know of any secondary literature on what
economists have thought of the ancient world?
