Two small points on recent postings: (1) Phillips's _Bank Credit_ was first published in
1920 (it was his PhD thesis at Yale, 1919). There were further printings (the page length
is always the same, so I infer that these were
not new editions) in 1921, 1924, 1926, 1938 and 1931, and a reprint (Arno  
Press) in 1980. 
(2) Crick's initials were W. F., according to the title page of his  
_Economica_ article, and the citation of three of his articles in the AEA  
_Index of Economic Journals,1925-39_  gives his names as Wilfred Frank.  
Keynes (mis-?)cites him as F. W. in the _Treatise_.
