Greg,

I have been looking for this set. Where did you find it. I
actually relied upon Paine's account of Twain quite a bit for my first
book on Twain and William James. I realize that Paine admired Twain far
too much to be entirely objective, but he nonetheless provides facts
that cannot be found in any other biography. He was able to walk and
talk with the primary source, after all.

Let me know how I can find the four volume set.

Thanks,

Jason
