Mark Twain's "The White House Funeral," along with annotations,
is reprinted in full in _Mark Twain's Letters, Vol. 3, 1869_,
(UCal Press, 1992,) p. 458-466.
This edition of _Letters, vol. 3_ also contains a photocopy of
Mark Twain's "Inspired Humor," (p. 305) which appeared in the
_Buffalo Express_, Aug. 19, 1869. "Inspired Humor" was reprinted
in _Mark Twain at the Bufffalo Express_, p. 9-10 (Northern Illinois
University Press, 1999). This item also contains a passing reference
to the KKK.
