----------------- HES POSTING -----------------
I am currently working on my master thesis which examines the effect of the advent of ICTs
on Latin American economies through the lens of the French theory of regulation ("l'Ecole
de la Régulation").

In an introductory chapter I would like to outline the concepts of "technology" and
"technological change" to be found in major theories of economic development
(modernisation theories, dependence theories, globalisation
paradigm, etc.)

* Are there any general surveys of this topic available?
* Which authors would you include in such an analysis (e.g. A. Gerschenkron crossed my
mind)

Thanks in advance,
