I cannot provide the reference to this review, Roy, but I was told while
in graduate school (in the early 1980s) that the Chicago Tribune ran an
editorial (leader in British English) in the 1960s titled "Candy Keynes"
in which they cast aspersions on Keynesian economics because of Keynes's
recently revealed sexual orientation. The professor who told me this was
trying to convince me to abandon my dissertation on Keynes. While I have
never seen the editorial, I suspect that there is something behind the
professor's claim given his general veracity and your story.
