BIO - Keir Cutler has been called “a masterful entertainer,” (Winnipeg Free
Press) “a marvel to watch,” (Toronto Sun) and “a Fringe-circuit superstar.”
(Montreal Gazette) Keir is the multi-award-winning playwright/performer of
Teaching Shakespeare: A Parody , (Mecca, Frankie, “Overall Excellence
Award-Solo” New York Fringe 2000) and the sequel Teaching Shakespeare 2.
He has performed his writings across Canada and in New York City. Keir has
a Ph.D. in theatre from Wayne State University in Detroit, a playwriting
diploma from the National Theatre School of Canada, and a B.A. from McGill
University. He is a member of ACTRA and the Playwright’s Guild of Canada.
