The speech at Daly's Theatre was given on April 13, 1887 according to Paul
Fatout's _Mark Twain Speaking_ (Univ. of Iowa Press, pp. 222-4).
Fatout reprints Twain's speech which he states is a composite based
on several sources.  The 1877 date listed in _MTAZ_ is evidently a
typographical error.
