In regards to an earlier discussion on the nature of Lyceums the Melrose
Public Library has contributed a bit more information on just where Mark
Twain and George W. Cable were on the night of November 10, 1884. They
were indeed at the Melrose Lyceum being held in the Town Hall. This is
documented in Goss's The History of Melrose on pages 359-361.
