Dear Colleagues: We have enough people to run this training session, but
there is still room for more of you to sign up. Please read the following,
and join us in this interesting and fun session -- you'll learn alot, and it
won't hurt a bit!

DM ... RDMS ... KM ... What does it all mean?

Find out at the next TAAG-sponsored learning opportunity, entitled
"Introducing Document and Records Management Systems," offered to all AAO
members for the very reasonable fee of $50.00 (non-members: $65.00).

This all-day session is scheduled for Tuesday November 25th, and we believe
that many archivists and information professionals will find it
enlightening. The purpose of this training is to help explain how records
management systems and document management systems are different things, but
how they can work together to manage records, whether paper, scanned, or
born digital.

We will also learn how a good file directory structure makes all systems
work better and more efficiently; we'll see a demonstration of some of the
RDMS products available; and, we'll learn how document management strategies
play a vital role in any Knowledge Management program. Join us in this
training session, and soon you too will be bandying about acronyms like DM,
RDMS and KM, -- and you'll even know what you are talking about!
