Friends on the Forum,

Friday night at Quarry Farm was another good success. Henry Sweets, from the Mark Twain Home & Museum showed slides and talked about all the projects they are working on in Hannibal. Many in attendance plan to return to Hannibal soon to see all the wonderful new exhibits and changes. Henry was both entertaining and informative, his historic photographs and descriptive lecture transported us from wet and windy up-state New York a warmer Missouri. (Hope he didn't run into any tornados on the way home!) A highlight of the weekend was watching Henry and Tim Sharlow change a tire on the Elmira College Car - Gretchen got a picture! Thanks Henry, it was great having you.

This coming Friday, Dr. David Sloane will be with us. Come by if you are in the area. 7:30 in the Barn at Quarry Farm

Jane McCone
