With all the talk of drink recipes, remember to raise a glass today
to Harold Rowe Holbrook, Jr. -- Hal -- who is 87. It's his birthday,
but, from a Twain perspective, he continues to be the gift that keeps
giving. I'll underscore a point made at the 2009 Elmira conference: How
much poorer would the Mark Twain community be without Hal Holbrook
inspiring so many us?
