What a wonderful series of questions! When I was walking through the Cramer-Rao lower
bound last week, I used the proof in Kendall and Stuart's Advanced theory of statistics.
Now that Professor Kendall has gone to chat with Galton, Pearson, Edgeworth and Fisher,
the book is Kendall's Advanced Theory of Statistics by Stuart and Ord.

The question I asked the class was to name another book in which the author's name has
become part of the title. I couldn't think of one.

I conjectured that this will be the fate of Samuelson's Economics.
