Dear colleagues, 
 
We are looking for specialists of the history of intellectual property willing to
participate in an international workshop to be organised jointly by the Universities of
Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve) and St-Louis (Brussels)on
october 28. The international workshop will be devoted to "intellectual  
property andtheories of justice". We are looking for two contributions that would by
looking at a controversy in the early history of IP, sheding light
on one of the current debates in the field. We will look at issues such as  
Lockean theories of justice and IP, copyleft, patents,... Those who are  
interested should send an abstract proposal and a short CV by February 25 to

publish the outcome of this workshop into a book. Suggestions by list members  
of people who might be suitable contributors are of course also  
welcome.
