A challenging opportunity exists at the Archives of Ontario to develop,
establish outreach programming/awareness to promote the Archives, its
collections/services, current and future, with existing/potential clients.
The position will develop public/private sector partnerships to pursue
funding opportunities to acquire, preserve, make available records of
historical significance to Ontario.

QUALIFICATIONS:   Knowledge of the Archives of Ontario, its programs, goals,
objectives; sound knowledge of outreach programming to stimulate
use/understanding.  Understanding of performance measurement/operational
planning.  Familiarity with funding sources; thorough knowledge of donor
recognition practices.  Sound analytical/organizational skills to coordinate
outreach activities, assess client needs, determine resource requirements.
Superior negotiation skills required to obtain funding to purchase/preserve
archival records.  Good project/event management skills.  Diplomacy,
judgement, excellent communication skills.  Good management/supervisory
skills to effectively manage activities of staff.
