I am forwarding this message from my son, Mike Reiss, consulting
producer for "The Simpsons." The program airs at 8 p.m. on Fox in my
area, San Diego.

--------------
You might alert the Twain community: this coming Sunday's "Simpsons"
features a segment that parodies "Huck Finn" with Bart as Tom Sawyer. The
author of the piece has read Huck seven times. We took great pains in the
writing to capture Twain's idiom.
