  Back in the 1980s, PBS produced film versions of several Mark Twain works,
including Life on the Mississippi, The Private History of
a Campaign That Failed and The Mysterious Stranger. (Those were the ones
that I thought worked best; if I remember correctly, the
others were Pudd'nhead Wilson, Huckleberry Finn and The Innocents Abroad.)
Does anyone here know if they've ever been released on DVD
or videocassette?
