AAO Silent Auction

                       1 June 2004

 Once again the AAO will hold a Silent Auction as part of the
 Annual Conference.  All monies raised will go to the AAO
 Shirley Spragge Education Fund.

 *     It's Spring cleaning time! Check through your
 collections at work and at home and see if there are any
 extras that you can bear to part with.

 *     What about non-archival materials?  That old ___
 that you have at the back of your cabinet may be just
 what someone else has been searching for.

 *     Think about your various talents  -  baking cookies,
 making frames, knitting, providing a tour . . .  (Archivists
 are extremely talented folk  -  use your imagination).

 Remember, income tax receipts will be given for all
 donated items.

Silent auctions are a fun way to fundraise and are the result
of minimal outlay of time and money.

        In the end, the AAO benefits!
     And that means that we will all benefit!
