Charles Smith <[log in to unmask]> of Western Kentucky University has brought "The
Alfred Russel Wallace Page" to my attention.

It contains much material by and about naturalist and social critic Wallace (1823-1913),
including bibliographies, news items, commentaries, FAQs, a capsule biography, lists
(e.g., of all the personal names that appear in his voluminous publications), and the
full-text of about 200 of his writings (including several books) and interviews. The URL
is: http://www.wku.edu/~smithch/index1.htm

According to Smith, Wallace's contributions to economic thought are rather under-studied
(e.g., his leadership of the land nationalization movement, his thoughts on the paper
currency standard, his approach to international trade and the problems of labor, and how
all this related to the evolving 'Liberal Agenda' of the Twentieth Century).

The website is a free, noncommercial service that Smith hopes can be used by students and
researchers alike.

Please feel free to spread the word in any way you might.
