The term "entrepreneur" now seems to embrace any change agent  
in any institutional context--enterprise, government, non-profit  
sector.  Did it always have such reach (or lack of boundaries)?  Or  
was it limited, say, to "heroic" individuals like Carnegie?   
Alternatively, has anyone tracked how the term has evolved since  
its introduction into discussions of economic performance?
