Also Clyde Herzman at Univ. of B.C. has done some really good work mapping
child conditions, day care, etc. in Vancouver.

My work involves mapping social characteristics of local neighbourhoods
using GIS. I am currently doing research into the correlates between child
abuse/maltreatment and social determinants at a local/neighbourhood level.
The research wil involve mapping protection cases and social demographic
data using GIS and spatial analysis technology Does anyone have any
information on similar work. If you know of any good references, I would
really appreciate it.

Thanks,
