I agree concerning the different editions (1911/1934) of Schumpeter's 
"Theory of Economic Development". The role of the entrepreneur is a central 
issue in both editions since the entrepreneur serves as the promoter of 
innovation in economy by inventing "new combinations". 
 
However, in contrast to other economists Schumpeter dealt not only with the 
economic function of entrepreneurs activity but referred also to the 
sociological and psychological profile of the entrepreneur asking for the 
real motives of the activity of entrepreneurs.
