REVISED SCHEDULE FOR THE MEETINGS OF THE
INTERNATIONAL NETWORK FOR ECONOMIC METHOD.
The 2000 meetings of the International Network for Economic Method
will be held on FRIDAY 30 June 2000 (NOT on Thursday 29 June as
previously announced). The revised call for papers appears below.
The conference sessions begin at 8 AM on 30 June, so that arrival in
Vancouver on the 29th is ideal. Housing will be available on the 29th
and through the duration of the History of Economics Society
Meetings that immediately follow the INEM conference at the same
venue. Further information will be available to interested persons
shortly.
Call for papers. The 2000 meetings of the International Network for
Economic Method will be held on 30 June 2000 at the University of
British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Abstracts of papers (no more
than 200 words) or proposals for sessions on any aspect of economic
methodology, the philosophy or sociology of science applied to
economics, or other areas of interest to economic methodologists
should be sent before 1 April 2000 to Kevin D. Hoover, Chair, INEM
(see contact info below). Papers presented at the conference may also
be submitted to the Journal of Economic Methodology. Inquiries from
those willing to act as discussants or wishing to attend independently
are also encouraged. The conference will take place the day before the
annual meetings of the History of Economics Society, also in
Vancouver. Housing is available on the UBC campus on a first-come-
first-served basis and will be coordinated with HES for those wishing
to attend both conferences.
