I received the following information from Hitoshi Hashimoto, a member of 
the Japanese Society for the History of Economic Thought: 
 
Knut Wicksell was put in Ystad prison for two months from October 4th, 
1909, because of the blasphemy of virgin conception of Mary.  He was, of 
course, defender of the suit.  Hope that this information would be of your 
service.
