TWO HAL HOLBROOK EVENTS
NOVEMBER 17 & 18
Hal Holbrook is returning to Hannibal High School with his "Mark Twain
Tonight!" performance on Saturday evening, November 17, at 8:00 p.m. Seats
are still available but are going fast. Call to check on available seats and
pricing.
On Sunday afternoon, November 18, the Mark Twain Museum is bestowing its
first Mark Twain Lifetime Achievement Award on Mr. Holbrook. The celebration
starts at 4:00 p.m. in the Museum Gallery building. The proceedings will
begin with Mr. Holbrook being interviewed by Steve Potter of St. Louis
Public Radio and host of the Cityscape program. Potter will conduct the
interview as a stage presentation. Then, following presentation of the
Lifetime Achievement Award, Mr. Holbrook will be available during a
reception to personally meet those in attendance. The cost for this event is
$100 per person.
