For early North Amerian macro texts, some of the following might be good
candidates:

Ackley, Macroeconomic Theory, 1961
Dernburg and McDougall, Macro-Economics, 1960, 1st ed.
Patinkin, Money, Interest, and Prices, 1955, 1st ed., but with
Patinkin's unique terminology.
