I got the e mail from David Fears.   It did not say the letter had the
quote.
  He did say that the 17 April letter was printed in the Daily Graphic.
Now
I wonder if the quote in the "hist pages" on the internet was "made up?"
Guess I won't realy be able to use it after all -- though it sounded good.
Well, that's what we are supposed to do, check and correct.   No use using
something that isn't.   there are too many Twain quotes attributed to him
now.
