Eric, when the economist says that, other things equal  
and given the definitions of the terms, a rise in  
demand will lead to a rise in price, I wonder which  
value is being introduced or disguised. No doubt, some  
economists do in fact disguise their values. So  
perhaps you are right about economists "as a group."  
At the same time, could it be that your aggregation of  
economists has introduced or disguised your own  
contested values?
