Thanks again to Anne Mayhew for clarifying her view of Veblen's views on
collusion. I am not sure I agree, but neither will I disagree without
reading Veblen more closely. Meantime, Anne, please explain your (and, I
gather, Veblen's) meaning of "interstices". I surmise it means interfirm
trading, and the logic leads to support for vertical integration, but, like
"Johnny #5" in the film *Short Circuit*, I need input!
