Dear friends:

I just learned the sad news that Marc Koechig (principal of M&M Books, 
Mark Twain enthusiast, and frequent poster here several years ago) 
recently passed away.  I don't believe his passing has been noted on 
TWAIN-L, and I don't want to let it go unnoticed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marc and his wife, Mary, several years ago 
while doing research in Connecticut.  They were both so knowledgeable and 
helpful, and I am sad to find out that they are both gone.
