To underscore the point about Dewey: anyone reading his RECONSTRUCTION IN
PHILOSOPHY can easily see that Galbraith not orthodox economics is the most
visible heir to Dewey's tradition. The call to analyze the formation of
values/preferences orientations so to have a democracy which is applied
intelligence in action compares closely to the Galbraithian revised sequence
and test of anxiety.
