Hello,

I am a history grad student currently doing my field research in Mexico City, on
the urban middle-class in the 1970s and 1980s. Would anyone on this list have
time to suggest some readings on the middle-class? I would be interested in
theoretical works or case studies, across time and geographical location. I
apologise for this general request; I have been trained as a cultural historian
and want to get familiar with the methodologies of economic history and
economics vis-a-vis the middle-class.

Thank you,
Louise Walker
