Archives of Ontario offers three challenging opportunities to work as part
of the Collections Management team as an Archivist. You will: accession
newly acquired records into the container tracking system, arrange and
describe records according to institutional standards, provide reference
services to clients and participate in outreach activities. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Experience in an archives environment with working
knowledge of archival principles/practices for accessioning, arrangement and
description, Rules for Archival Description; familiarity with Ontario
history and the structure and functions of the Ontario government,
legislation/practices governing access to records, recorded information
management principles/practices and general preservation issues; strong
computer skills; excellent time management, communication and organizational
skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, and to work independently
or as part of a team; demonstrated customer service and results-based
orientation; ability to lift and move 35-50 lb containers of archival
material.
