I am currently teaching a second year course on the history of economic
thought. As it is offered for internal students and correspondence
students, a textbook is required. This year I used E. Ray Canterbery's
"The Literate Economist," which is now out of print. The course is
designed for a fairly introductory level of student. Indeed, some may
have no economics background.

Can members of the list suggest a suitable text for next year?
