Conditions have been unbearable in many places in  
which the slaves or peasants did not rebel.  
  
Moreover, the influence of intellectuals was  
manifested after the rebellion.  For example,  
some members of the Assembly composed the DECLARATION  
OF THE RIGHTS OF MAN AND THE CITIZEN, which was  
adopted by the National Assembly.
