The Fifth Conference of the International Walras Association  
                                CALL FOR PAPERS  
  
Organised by the Walras-Pareto Centre, the Fifth Conference of the   
International Walras Association, will be held on Thursday and Friday   
September 21st and 2nd, 2006 at the University of Lausanne   
(Switzerland). The topic of the conference is:  
  
Crossed Glances at L�on Walras  
  
The conference aims at establishing a dialogue between different   
economists (like Marshall, Pareto�) and L�on Walras through their   
various interpreters. This objective will be achieved by the   
interaction between specialists of L�on Walras and specialists of other   
authors. However, papers on other themes are welcomed provided that   
they relate directly to the work of Auguste or L�on Walras.  
  
The proposals, in English or French, must include a title, an abstract   
(4000 to 7000 characters including space), the participant�s address   
(electronic and postal) and their affiliation. This must be sent by   
February 13th, 2006 to the following address:

The scientific committee will inform authors about the acceptance of   
their paper before the end of February 2006. The deadline for receiving   
the definitive version of the article is September 4th, 2006.  
  
All papers will be available on the site of the International Walras   
Association ( http://www.unil.ch/walras ) and will be published on a   
CD-R before the Conference. The scientific committee is also   
considering the publication of a selection of the Conference papers.
