Hello:

I'm wondering if anybody recalls anything in Twain studies discussing
Twain's knowledge of Francis W. Parker (1837-1902). I keep running
into dead-ends. Parker is perhaps best known as a turn-of-the-century
education reformer and associate of John Dewey. (Anyone know if Twain
knew/discussed Dewey? That would help me, too. The most obvious link
between Twain and Dewey I think would be through Twain's association
with William James.)

Thanks much,
Joe Csicsila
