The extraneous characters and codes in some of the following message are a
result of members using word processors to cut and paste their messages.
Twain-L is a plain-text listserv. Word processors generate formatting codes
which cannot be interpreted by listserv. Members are urged to send all
messages in plain text when posting to the Mark Twain Forum. There are
settings in most e-mail programs to accomplish this. Composing messages in a
plain text editor and then pasting that text into a Mark Twain Form posting
is also an option.
