NEWS FROM THE CENTRE

a. Tanya Berry's Blog on Physical Activity
(http://www.centre4activeliving.ca/about/berrys_blog/index.htm):
The centre enters the "blogosphere" with Dr. Tanya Berry's new blog, a
chance for Tanya to write (and sometimes vent) about physical activity
issues. Tanya takes a personal, informative, and engaging look at issues
such as the way the media presents physical activity, fitness fads, and the
perceived link between physical activity and weight loss.

--------------

b. Monthly Physical Activity Information Round-Ups
(http://www.centre4activeliving.ca/library/2007_jan_round-up.pdf):
Rosanne Prinsen, the centre's Resource Coordinator, regularly receives
physical activity information from listservs, websites, personal contacts
and e-mails. Every month, Rosanne will share this information from the
media, recent research and other resources in her Information Round-Ups.

--------------
