AS/AD is in the textbooks for a good reason.  It is easy to teach.  Most students 
have seen a supply/demand graph in micro.  Just relabel it & pretend that you have 
taught macro.

Professors can think they are good teachers; students that they are good students.  
Everyone is happy.  Nothing else is accomplished.
