With our earlier discussion of Paul O'Neal in mind. . .
Last night during the Braves-Rockies game, the Rockies brought in a relief
pitcher named Mike DeJean. The announcer said something like, "Not only is
he a pretty good pitcher, he's a descendent of Mark Twain."
Wonder why baseball players want to be associated with Twain?
Or could it be a publicist on the Yankees? [This player was traded to the
Rockies from the Yankees earlier in his career].
That would mean that for a while the Yankees had TWO Twain relatives!
