----------------- HES POSTING -----------------
The editorial team of the HES List is pleased to announce the
appearance of two new websites associated with the List:
EH.Net's HISTORY OF ECONOMICS web site includes links to all
the services and resources provided by EH.Net for historians of
economics and economic thought. These include Abstracts in the
History of Economics, book reviews in economic history and the
history of economics, a course syllabi directory, the Ask the
Professor service, the HES List web page and list archives, a
comprehensive list of both general and topical resources in the
history of economics resources on the internet, links to all
societies and organizations in the history of economics, and a
variety of other links of interest to scholars in the field (including
archives, libraries, journals, etc.). The HISTORY OF ECONOMICS
website is available at: http://www.eh.net/HE/
The HISTORY OF ECONOMICS SOCIETY website is now devoted
to Society news and business. A new set of membership services
are available, and information regarding Society conferences,
awards, etc. can easily by obtained. The HISTORY OF
ECONOMICS SOCIETY site can be reached at:
http://www.eh.net/HE/HisEcSoc/
And what of the old History of Economics Society site (which
provided access to both Society business and EH.Net resources
for historians of economics)? If you visit that site, you will have the
opportunity to choose which of the new sites you wish to visit.
Eventually, that site will be archived.
I will be contacting individually those who have links to the old site
on their web pages to inform them of these changes. In the mean
time, you will want to visit the new sites and update your
bookmarks. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
For your information, the new page for the HES List is
http://www.eh.net/HE/hes_list/
