Arnold Schwarzenegger (famously foreign born and hence unPresidential) with 
his arm around Milton Friedman in 2004.  Interesting choice, presumably the 
editor's not Krugman's, but not an idle choice given the vast number of photos 
available.  What is that all about?" 

Schwarzenegger is an appropriate choice - he represents MF's determination 
to influence policy: 

For Schwarzenegger, "the lights came on" as he watched Free to Choose;the 
Governor carries in his pocket the (or a) pencil from Free to Choose (which, 
for MF, illustrated the organisational power of capitalism relative to 
government); Friedman, in his 90s, regulary went to Sacremento to advise 
the Governor; at the Hoover Memorial service last Monday, the Governor 
proclaimed Monday 29 January "Milton Friedman Day" accross the State of 
California (PBS will air a biography of MF that night).
