PRESS RELEASE for Mark Twain's "Is Shakespeare Dead?"
Mark Twain's "Is Shakespeare Dead?" has been adapted into a one-man show in
Canada by the multi-award winning writer/performer Keir Cutler. The 40
minute monologue argues that Shakespeare did not write the works attributed
to him. It was a hit at the Montreal and Toronto Fringe Festivals and will
be restaged at the Wildside Festival in January 2003 at Montreal's main
english theatre, Centaur Theatre.
The Toronto Sun reviewed "Is Shakespeare Dead?" as "vintage Mark Twain with
acerbic updates ... Keir Cutler's a marvel to watch." For more information
