I have placed a digital copy of the 1933/1934 selection of Dupuit's
economical writings by Mario de Bernardi [229 pp.] for downloading at
http://www.condorcet.nl/dupuit1934.pdf.

I wonder if anyone knows "anything" about Mario de Bernardi? I could
identify only one [other] Mario de Bernardi: (1893-1959), Italian aviator
and WW-I ace, known in the U.S. as the "Flying Fascist [according to Time
Magazine 1959], who held the world speed record in 1926 at 246 m.p.h.,and
who flew the first Italian jet aircraft in 1940, etcetera: a most
improbable Curriculum Vitae for an economist - at least in The
Netherlands.

With kind regards,

Marcel Claessen
