at Duke University from April 4-6, 1997. It was organized by
Professor Mary S. Morgan of LSE and the University of Amsterdam, and
Professor Malcolm Rutherford of the University of Victoria.

The conference program can be found at the URL

(This link will expire later this summer.)

For copies/preprints of the papers, which will appear in the
HOPE supplement to Volume 30, please write or e-mail to the authors
directly; do not write to the conference organizers or the HOPE
