Here is some information about two positions that might be of interest to some of you. 
 
Endowed Chair Position:  George Matthews & Virginia Brinkley Modlin Chair in Leadership Studies

The Jepson School of Leadership Studies invites nominations and applications for this endowed chair.  The scholar appointed to the chair will be an accomplished researcher and teacher with an earned doctorate in a discipline such as philosophy, history, classics, political science, or economics; a record of significant scholarly publications; and experience teaching at the undergraduate level. Appointment may be made at the level of Professor or advanced Associate.


International and Cross-Cultural Perspectives: Tenure-Track
Assistant Professor of Leadership Studies

The Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor with a specialization in international or cross-cultural perspectives. We seek a scholar and teacher with an international perspective in a disciplinary specialization such as anthropology, economics, history, international relations, political science, or sociology.  Qualifications include a Ph.D. with an international focus; the potential and desire to develop, from her/his disciplinary training, an active scholarly agenda on questions of leadership; and the ability to do interdisciplinary research and teach in a liberal arts environment.  The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to existing courses in the Leadership Studies major, including the introductory course and those on the international, cultural, and historical contexts of leadership, as well as to develop courses in his/her area of expertise.
